| Loquat (scientific name: Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lindl.) is a plant belonging to the Rosaceae family and the genus Loquat. Small evergreen tree, up to 10 meters high. Flowering from October to December, fruiting from May to June. Loquat is suitable for warm and humid climate and requires higher temperature during growth and development. Loquat is suitable for growing on gentle slopes with good drainage. Loquat has strong adaptability to the soil, but the sandy loam with a pH of 6 or so is better with deep soil, loose soil, rich humus, strong water retention and fertility, and not easy to accumulate water.
