Geranium (scientific name: Pelargonium hortorum), also known as hydrangea, paraffin red, wax red, sun-rotten red, and mallow, belongs to the geranium family, including about 230 species of perennial succulent, sub-shrub or shrubs. Young plants of pelargonium are succulent Herb, semi-lignified old plant; perennial herb, 30-60 cm high. The stem is upright, the base is lignified, the upper part is fleshy, with many or unbranched branches, and there are dark red horseshoe-shaped rings within the leaf margins on the surface. Flowering period is erect, petals are red, orange-red, pink or white, broadly obovate, and the lower 3 are usually larger. The capsule is about 3 cm long and pilose.
